In good company

It's not everyday that a Patriot League school gets mentioned with ACC and Big 10 schools when it comes to football, but when it happens, it's great for the league. For Lehigh, it was today in the Washington (DC) Examiner:

Josh Czajkowski

"I've got a big, freezer Ziploc bag stuffed full of just the envelopes from UVa., Maryland, and N.C. State," said Alex Czajkowski (his dad). "Then, I've got this stack of everyone else. Michigan, Lehigh, Marshall, Pitt -- all of them."

That was his dad commenting on all of the recruiting materials this prolific junior kicker has recieved. It's an interesting story about a lifelong soccer player that was recruited by the high school coach as a freshman to try out for the team. Great decsion: now the kid will likely land a Division I-A scholarship and maybe even more.

Josh Czajkowski - He's definitely got the name for a kicker! Posted by Hello

  • But, the first PL offer to an '06 recruit is made by: Gate! At least according to Rivals. RB Tony Watts 5'10" 180 4.4 995 rushinng yards on only 88 carries. Lake Highland Prep, Fla. Lots of interest.
