New Poll Feature (and link)

I've just done a little enhancement to the site. Check out (and vote in!) the poll on the right. Look for future polls!

I've also added a link to my Lehigh contemporary Lehigh Football Nation who served as the inspiration for my site. Check out Chuck's blog when you get a chance. It's a great look "behind enemy lines"!

  • I like the poll. But why only post-1980(ish) players? There were some good QBs back when Colgate played a real D-I schedule against national powers. Maybe your poll question should have been " Best QB since 1970" Give the geezers their due!

  • It is my opinion that college football (and Colgate football) has changed since the I-A/I-AA split. There are plenty of great players from every era, but for this poll I wanted to ask for an apples to apples comparision as much as possible.

    I can do many polls so more historical ones (no offense to "geezers" meant) are no problem! But for the record, who would you have put up in that list from the 70s? Tom Parr? Ron Burton ('69)? Both are worthy but they played in a slightly different era in my opinion.

  • I'm also experimenting with some other services (free ones that is) and we'll see how that goes. I just added a photo album and a headline news box. If it gets to much, let me know. I'm not entirely sold on them yet. The poll I think works great. The photo center is really hitting me with ads and I'm not sure I want to go that route.

    It's a work in progress!

  • LOL Chuck! Naw, just found some interesting sites that let you have some fun on your blog. It's amazing what's out there for free - if you want to put up with the advertising that is.

    We'll see how much I keep, but the poll seems to be a no brainer!
