Roach's Right Hand...

Just got a new name: Kevin Hatcher . Looks like Kevin was just hired as Colgate's new associate athletic director. I believe this position replaces Brad Houston who is retiring after 30+ years at Colgate.

Kevin comes from UTEP (University of Texas at El Paso) but it looks like Roach has been after him from some time.

  • What's most interesting to me is that he's now the second guy in a row that Roach has hired from a place very unlike Colgate. Typically we'd see Ivy League types or even D-III types filling jobs at Colgate. First, Roach hires Shondell Reed from Ohio State and now Kevin Hatcher from UTEP.

    I actually think these are great moves to make Colgate think bigger for its athletic department.
