We've got hoops confirmation

"HAMILTON, N.Y. – Colgate head men’s basketball coach Emmett Davis has announced the addition of two recruits to the Raider program. Joining the Raiders will be transfer Willie Morse, from St. Bonaventure University, and freshman guard Trevaron Vinson, from Grand Prairie, Texas."

  • Apparently Willie Morse has to sit out the 2005/6 season and so no help for this year.

  • Makes sense that Morse has to sit out since it's a Division I to Division I transfer.

    Is it me or does it seem like the men's team is taking their sweet time to try and get an impact from their scholarships? They got 3 good ones last year, but this year we're really only adding 1 to the team right away?

    I wonder if the return of the Chones brothers prevents the use of more due to roster size?
